Tawa Masala idli is an amazing alternative to the regular idlis. It can be made with instant steamed idli or leftover idli. Tawa Masala Idli is very simple to make as it can be cooked on a Tawa with vegetables, Indian spices, and some butter. I have used onions, tomatoes, and capsicum as well as it enhances the taste even more.
Tawa Masala idli recipe is much easier when it is made of leftover idlis as it takes less time. Also, note that the idli should be cold so that it doesn’t stick to the pan or Tawa. if it sticks add a splash of water.
